This photo book is a beautiful reference work of Panamarenko’s posters, placards, and pamphlets.

Panamarenko once said, “I always want a poster to have a special impact, one that goes far beyond the merely informative. I use the poster to show the ‘dream’ I am working on beforehand. With the right sketch or drawing or whatever, you can evoke the right atmosphere of adventure.”

And that ‘dreaming’ is also reflected in this book: drawings and sketches that illustrate Panamarenko’s thought process.
 

Panamarenko Posters is an initiative of the Panamarenko Collective.
This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at the MuHKA, from 19 December 2008 to 18 January 2009.
